INGREDIENTS
• 2 8oz packages cream cheese, softened
• 2 cups shredded cheddar
• 1 teaspoon garlic salt
• 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
• ½ cup crushed ROLD GOLD® Original Pretzels Sticks, (use the rest as skewers!) plus extra sticks
• ½ cup chives, chopped
• 2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning, divided
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, garlic salt and bacon; stir to combine.
2. Place the pretzel crumbs and 1 tablespoon of BBQ seasoning in one bowl and the chives and remaining seasoning in a second bowl.
3. Scoop a small amount of the cheese mixture and roll into a 1-inch ball. Roll the ball in the pretzel coating and place on a baking sheet. Continue to roll half of the cream cheese mixture into the pretzel coating.
4. Continue the process with the remaining cream cheese mixture and the chives.
5. Refrigerate the cheese balls for 2-3 hours.
6. Just before serving, place ROLD GOLD® Pretzels Sticks into each ball that is covered with the chive coating.
