Giving Back Through Feed the Children

The most recent government statistic shows in 2015, 43.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 14.5 million children under the age of 18. Simply put, millions of families across our country have trouble putting food on their tables each and every day.

As part of supporting PepsiCo's Performance with Purpose 2025 goals, we are committed to increasing people's access to more nutritious options and helping to solve hunger.

We have been longstanding partners of Feed the Children, a national non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger. In 2016 alone, this partnership provided more than 9,000 families in need with food and essentials through a series of regional events.

While each event is unique, there are some common elements which include involvement from numerous retailers, elected officials and other community leaders. Our associates, in each local market, are also proud to volunteer and work onsite at Feed the Children events, serving families and assisting with distribution.

We believe it's important to give back to the communities where we live and work, which is why we are so passionate when it comes to this worthy cause. Making sure children and their families have enough to eat is something we can all agree on and we look forward to continuing to work with Feed the Children.
