Is Teamwork a Key Ingredient for Success?

For the Frito-Lay Aberdeen, Md. manufacturing plant, teamwork is looked at as second nature. When we spoke to four long-tenured employees at the site, it was a unanimous belief that working together was vital to the success of the business. Take a look at how teamwork helps these Frito-Lay members produce quality chips for our consumers. 

Terry Sewald's been with Frito-Lay for more than 35 years. He's responsible for product line evaluations, where he controls and makes sure consumers are getting a quality product.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned regarding teamwork?

Stefanie Houseknecht's been with Frito-Lay for more than 25 years. She currently monitors finances for the warehouse and traffic departments along with her other responsibilities.

How important is it to work together as a team? 

Fred Brown's been with Frito-Lay for more than 21 years. He manages 20-25 people on the shift, and enjoys helping people perform to their highest potential. He believes teamwork is critical.

Why do you believe teamwork is critical?

Steve Henson's been with Frito-Lay for more than 19 years. He is the planner, scheduler and lead for the GES and Warehouse maintenance department.
