Darrell is a 5th generation potato farmer and just one of many McCrums working on the family farm. The McCrums have a proud tradition of growing potatoes for Frito-Lay chips for over 23 years.

“You’ve got to start with a great potato in order to end with a great potato chip”  Potato farming is in Steve’s blood. His dad first started growing potatoes for Frito-Lay chips 27 years ago. It’s Steve’s love of the land and what he does that makes his potatoes the pride of Florida.

These brothers and 3rd generation potato farmers have been growing potatoes since they were old enough to walk. Their pride for their potatoes and their family makes us proud that Walther potatoes have gone into Frito-Lay chips since 1975.

Jack Wallace Jr. learned everything he knows about potato farming from his dad “Big Jack”. Their passion and Texas pride have been a part of Frito-Lay chips since 1964.

Brian is a 5th generation potato farmer whose pride for his potatoes is as big as his love for California. Brian’s dad started growing potatoes for Frito-Lay chips the year Brian was born, and like him, he hopes to one day pass the farm on to his son.
