STACY’S® Bake Shop White Chocolate Banana Nut Bread Pudding
With great flavor including white chocolate, banana and caramel, this definitely isn’t the ordinary bread pudding you’ve tried in the past!
• 1 14-oz box STACY’S® Bake Shop Banana Nut Bread Crisps
• 4 croissants, cut in one-inch cubes
• 2 cups whole milk
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 8 eggs, separated
• 3/4 cups white chocolate chips
• Caramel sauce
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place the cubed croissants in the oven for 15 minutes until toasted and slightly dry. Combine egg yolks, milk and cream, and whisk until smooth. In a large bowl, combine the croissants, cream mixture, crisps and white chocolate chips and mix well. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into the mixture. Then transfer to a baking dish. Place the baking dish into a pan with ½-inch of water to create a water bath, and place in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes, until the mixture is firm in the center. Spoon onto plates, and serve with your favorite caramel sauce.
