Southwest Cheese and Chiles Dip


We use a real recipe with all-natural ingredients to make our new Southwest Cheese & Chiles flavor. That’s right – now you can create the flavor of these chips in your home.


1 teaspoon canola oil
¼ cup chopped poblano pepper
¼ cup chopped white onions
1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
2 tablespoon taco spice seasoning
¼ cup milk
2 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese
¼ cup diced fresh tomato
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon red chili flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste
¼ cup of shredded cheddar cheese


In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the canola oil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.

Add the onion, peppers and garlic. Sauté the mixture for 3-4 minutes, add the taco spice and, again, sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add the milk and then the cream cheese and whisk the mixture continuously until it is smooth.
Mix in the tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice, chili flakes, salt and pepper. Top the dip with the shredded cheese and serve immediately.

For added spice, add more chili pepper flakes or replace the taco spice with 10 ounces of chorizo sausage.
