Caramelized Apples for Yogurt Parfait
3 cups granny smith apples – large dice
3 tablespoons heavy cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
- In a medium sauté pan over medium heat, sauté the apples in the butter and sugar for three minutes.
- Add lemon juice and cinnamon and sauté for another three minutes.
- Remove the mixture from the pan and place in a bowl.
- Reserve to the side.
