Banana Split Dessert Nachos
Prep time: 15 minutes Serves: 4
Plan ahead and enjoy this nutrient-packed, gluten-free dessert at home. It only requires one ingredient to be prepped - the banana ice cream. Everything else can simply be used as toppings!
4 medium bananas
20 Tostitos® Original Restaurant Style tortilla chips
1 cup strawberries (sliced)
8 teaspoons chocolate syrup
¼ cup vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt
4 teaspoons chopped unsalted peanuts
Peel and slice bananas. Put in a freezer bag and freeze 2-3 hours.
Put bananas in blender and whip until creamy, like soft serve ice cream (stop and scrape down the sides of the blender as needed through the process.) Scoop into a plastic container and return to freezer for another 2 hours.
To assemble nachos, place 5 Tostitos® tortilla chips in a small bowl. Top with ½ cup of banana ice cream, ¼ cup strawberries and 1 teaspoon peanuts. Top with 1 tablespoon dollop of vanilla yogurt and drizzle with 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup. Repeat with remaining bowls and serve immediately.
