Balsamic Sweet Onion Vinaigrette
We use a real recipe with all-natural ingredients to make our new Balsamic Sweet Onion flavor. That’s right – now you can create the flavor of these chips in your home.
1½ cups chopped sweet onions
1 cup white balsamic vinegar
Pinch of sugar
½ cup olive oil
3 tablespoon cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon thyme (dry)
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Place the onions, sugar and balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
Reduce the heat to a medium simmer and cook until just dry (approximately 10 minutes).
Place the hot onion mixture in a medium mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the oil, cider vinegar, thyme, salt and pepper until the ingredients combine.
Allow finished dressing to cool for 10 minutes before applying to salad. Refrigerate any unused portions.
Make enough dressing for 4-6 ounces of mixed greens.
