Baked Onion, Mushroom & Bacon Dip
Try when you have friends over, or when you’re looking for a tasty snack. Perfect for any occasion.
1 cup Vidalia onion, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese or shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove, finely chopped (optional)
hot pepper sauce to taste (optional)
6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In 1-quart oven safe casserole dish, combine all ingredients.
3. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Serve immediately with STACY'S® SIMPLY NAKED® Pita Chips for dipping.
Notes: You can lighten up this recipe by replacing the regular mayonnaise and/or cheese with fat-free or reduced-fat mayonnaise and/or cheese.
