We’re proud to have “Green Teams” working day in and day out at each of our more than 30 U.S. manufacturing plants to help Frito-Lay achieve its sustainability goals. Steve English

The Environmental coordinator (EC) at our Kirkwood, N.Y. plant. Steve has worked at Kirkwood for the last 31 years, and has spent the last nine years as the EC. Steve shared some of the highlights of his job, and you can check them out here.

Fred Brown

Fred works at our Aberdeen, Md., plant, where he’s responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations, supporting sustainability projects within the plant and leading the plant’s Green Team. Gerard Spicer

The environmental coordinator (EC) at our Denver plant. A 17-year veteran of Frito-Lay, Gerard has spent the last 10 years as Denver’s EC. Before that, he held roles on the production and quality teams. As the EC, Gerard is responsible for ensuring his plant stays in compliance with numerous state and federal environmental regulations, supporting environmental sustainability projects within the plant and leading Denver’s Green Team. Heather Belanger

The environmental coordinator (or EC) at our plant in Killingly, Conn. Heather has been with Frito-Lay for 25 years, and has spent the last four years as the Killingly EC. She’s held a variety of roles within the plant, including working for the sanitation and food safety team for 17 years. Learn more about Heather's job and what she loves about it here.

Kanan Harakh

As environmental coordinator (EC), Kanan is responsible for making sure the plant stays in compliance with numerous state and federal environmental regulations. Brenda Moppins

Brenda is one of more than 30 environmental coordinators (ECs) at Frito-Lay. There’s one coordinator at each of our sites, responsible for making sure the company stays in compliance with numerous state and federal environmental regulations.
