Products Not Containing Additives

Substances added to food to preserve or improve flavor, or enhance appearance are considered additives. Additives are carefully regulated to ensure safety. Common additives include colors, sweetners, spices, natural or synthetic flavors, anti-caking agents, vitamins and minerals (commonly added to milk, flour and cereal).
