KatieHi, I'm Katie, a Senior Scientist on the Regulatory and Nutrition Affairs team. At Frito-Lay, we believe snacking should be good and fun. That’s why we use ingredients that work together in savory harmony. We start with ingredients like potatoes, corn and grains, cook our snacks in oils like sunflower, corn and canola, and top off each with the perfect blend of salt or seasoning.

Our approach is simpler than you may think, and the results are as tasty as ever. After all, we’ve made FRITOS® Original Corn Chips and LAY'S® Classic Potato Chips using the same recipe for more than 80 years.
