Forty-Three Frito-Lay Associates Named Best in World

PLANO, Texas – PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division congratulates its 43 U.S.- and Canadian-based sales associates who recently were inducted into the PepsiCo President’s Ring of Honor, which recognizes the corporation’s top sales performers in the world. Only 224 associates from the more than 85,000-member global PepsiCo sales force team won the honor this year, representing 51 countries and 29 different languages. PepsiCo Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi hosted the annual President’s Ring of Honor induction ceremony on June 9, at PepsiCo headquarters in Purchase, N.Y.

“It was wonderful to see these 43 Frito-Lay associates receive the sales force’s highest award, the President’s Ring of Honor, as their families cheered with pride in the audience,” said Randy Melville, senior vice president and general manager of the central business unit, Frito-Lay North America. “I know firsthand that PepsiCo is the world-class leader in customer service due in large part to the pride and passion of our sales force coupled with the support of their family and local community.”

Nominations for the President’s Ring of Honor are based on sales performance, outstanding customer service and exceptional leadership. Frito-Lay is committed to recognizing and championing the achievements of its greatest asset – its employees. Talent sustainability is a key focus in the company's vision of Performance with Purpose.
