PLANO, Texas - The Miss Vickie's brand brings its great-tasting premium snacks to consumers across the United States, expanding the brand’s product line with new retail sizes and six different varieties. Keeping with the brand's heritage, Miss Vickie’s snacks are all-natural – made with natural ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Vickie and Bill Kerr started making all-natural potato chips on their family’s farm in New Lowell, Ontario, more than 20 years ago. Using high-quality farm-grown potatoes, Vickie and Bill cooked them in small batches for the perfect, crunchy, simple taste of Kettle Cooked Potato Chips. Prepared with the same care today, the Miss Vickie’s brand is launching four Kettle Cooked Potato Chip flavors: Simply Sea Salt, Hand Picked Jalapeño, Country Onion with 3 Cheeses and Creamy Buttermilk Ranch.
"Consumers are looking for authentic all natural snacks, made with ingredients they know and trust," says Armando Garza, director, Miss Vickie's. "Miss Vickie's farm-inspired recipes and great homemade taste give consumers a flavor experience they love."
Building on its all-natural tradition, the brand is expanding its offerings beyond the kettle chip category for which the brand is known. The Miss Vickie’s brand is also introducing: Nine Grain Chips and Salty Sweet Kettle Corn. Miss Vickie’s Nine Grain Chips is a flavorful chip made with a rich blend of nine all-natural grains and two tasty seeds, for a light, crispy crunch. Miss Vickie’s Salty Sweet Kettle Corn, also all-natural, provides the perfect taste combination of sweet and salty, reminiscent of the popcorn sold at a country county fair.
Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips are available in 5 oz. packages priced at $2.49. Miss Vickie’s Simply Sea Salt and Hand Picked Jalapeño flavored Kettle Cooked Potato Chips are also available in 2 ½ oz. packages priced at $1.29. Miss Vickie’s Nine Grain Chips and Miss Vickie’s Salty Sweet Kettle Corn are available in 6 oz. packages priced at $2.49. All products are available nationally at grocery, retail and mass merchandise. This expansion marks the Miss Vickie’s brand’s first foray into these channels beyond their original single-serve sizes.
