Frito-Lay Promotes Ron Parker as Senior Vice President, Human Resources

PLANO, Texas - Frito-Lay recently promoted Ron Parker, a highly accomplished 22-year human resources executive, to the post of Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Frito-Lay North America, the leading snack food division of PepsiCo, Inc.

An 18-year PepsiCo veteran, Parker will be responsible for directing all Human Resources activities associated with compensation, benefits, labor relations and organizational capability of the Frito-Lay North America business. He will also now lead Frito-Lay's efforts to develop expanded leadership and frontline capabilities and ensure progress in key areas like productivity and workplace diversity.

Parker, who is 46 years old and most recently served as Frito-Lay Vice President of Headquarters Human Resources at the company's Plano, TX campus, has held several human resources roles of increasing responsibilities across PepsiCo including executive appointments at Pepsi-Cola, Pepsi-Cola Bottling and PepsiCo corporate.

Parker serves as a Director of the Executive Leadership Council and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America boards. He also serves on various committees including the Parents' Council of Wake Forest University, the International Board of Visitors and at Texas Christian University.

Parker received his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University. He and his wife have three children and reside in Plano, TX.
